personal reflection

Past is present.

I draw from a wellspring of people and events that comprise the rich cache of my experiences—personal and professional. There in my work, the playful and silly soothes the sad and melancholy, an open invitation to connect with a laugh or a sigh. That is my design, in themes of love, protection and commemoration.

community connection

BIKE MEETS PAVEMENT.

I connect with every city I have lived in with a hungry curiosity and a love for nostalgia. I am drawn to the vibrant energy of each and every neighborhood I explore and the community of color and pattern that I find within. My work as artist and designer is expressed in robust projects that are graphic and self-authored.

global imagining

passion draws purpose.

At the intersection of social justice and design, I curate a personal and global narrative that raises awareness and educates the viewer. My graphic and illustration styles are as diverse as the topics and issues I address. With playful persuasion and illumination, my approach is accessible, sometimes peppered with whimsy.
